From Topgolf VR to Golf+

The developers behind the Oculus VR game Topgolf w/ProPutt reached out to transform their IP into a brand all their own.

Founder Ryan Engle is clear in his mission to expand the game of golf to new audiences around the globe and he believes VR presents the most opportunistic channel yet. His commitment to eschew the associations of golf as a stuffy leisure activity and reshape the future of the sport is absolute.

The name: Golf+
The mantra: “Golf positive”

We didn’t lean on the “+” symbol as a streaming reference, we used it as a universal gateway to “the good side of golf,” highlighting shared experiences and personal achievement. The name champions access for all ages and ethnic backgrounds to experience the game and serves as a filter for future company efforts via the question, “will this be positive for the sport of golf?”
